Wearlon® 4545.76 JC (Mold Release)

Wearlon 4545.76 JC is a 'best release' formula developed for a specific problem in a specific industry. Automobile manufacturers were having problems with their reactive polyolefin adhesives sticking to their manufacturing forms, leading to imperfections in the finished product and major delays in production. By coating their forms with Wearlon 4545.76 JC, the finished product releases out of the form easily, there is less labor involved per cycle, and downtime is greatly reduced. Wearlon 4545.76 JC can replace the need for greasy lubricants and sacrificial oils.

The Wearlon 4545-76 JC coating has been adapted by other industries and manufacturing sectors where an easy-release, dry lubricant coating is needed. It is excellent for mold release, adhesive release, etc.

This silicone epoxy has inferior abrasion and slip properties when compared to the Wearlon® 2020.98 series of coatings. Because of the high silicone contact, it has found favor for its outstanding release properties, and is presently being used on parts, to prevent glue, adhesives, and paint from sticking to them. Holding tanks, such as paint tanks for striping roads have enjoyed the easy clean-up of their tanks coated with Wearlon® 4545.76 JC.

Wearlon® 4545.76 JC is being used on private and public properties for its anti-stick properties on lamp posts and bulletin boards, to overcome the problem of illegal advertising stickers. Pressure sensitive adhesives such as tapes, stickers, chewing gum, and paints can be easily removed from Wearlon® 4545.76 JC-coated surfaces.
